If requested by attorney, VBA will contact the debtor(s) and obtain missing information without any additional charge. If debtor(s) are contacted, VBA will represent him/herself as an assistant working under the direction of the attorney.

1.      Provide “Summary Sheet” detailing information pertaining to the bankruptcy case and alerting Attorney of any possible problem(s) such as  un exempt equity or potential fraud that will protect Attorney from Court fines or embarrassment at 341 Meeting of Creditors.

2.      Kelly Blue Book or NADA search for auto values.

3.      County Clerk Site for on-line criminal and civil records search, if necessary.

4.      Return draft of bankruptcy petition to Attorney for review.

5.      Changes made per Attorney’s instructions, if necessary.

6.      Return of bankruptcy petition for the client file and/or electronic filing

7.      Other duties needed to complete the final bankruptcy petition, including electronic filing, if requested.

Administrative Support


Administrative support rates on a retainer contract basis. Offering the following plans, depending on your
needs:

10 hours per month 
20 hours per month
40 hours per month

Retainers are a month-to-month contract with payment for the following month being paid
by the 30th of the previous month to allow for scheduling purposes.
(Example – invoice is sent out on April 15.
Payment to be made by April 30  for May work to begin.)
Client may cancel this agreement with twenty (20) days notice.
